Giving Tuesday: Investing in Access, Opportunity, and the Next Generation of Athletes
Published by Superfeet on Feb 12th 2026
At Superfeet, we champion three core pillars: People, Planet, and Philanthropy. These values shape every decision we make and guide the work we do beyond our products. This Giving Tuesday, we are honoring that commitment by investing in access and opportunity for the next generation.
Recently, Sanya Richards-Ross and Aaron Ross presented a $5,000 donation on our behalf to the University of Texas Co-Op Foundation. This contribution helps provide essential course materials to students who might not otherwise have the resources to succeed. For many students, the cost of textbooks, lab supplies, and required materials can be a barrier to starting strong or staying on track. The Co-Op Foundation works to close that gap, ensuring more students have what they need to learn, grow, and move through their academic journey with confidence.

As part of our Giving Tuesday efforts, Sanya also participated in a panel hosted by the Running Industry Diversity Coalition (RIDC), an organization Superfeet proudly supports. The panel brought together brands, athletes, community leaders, and industry voices to explore how we can expand access, representation, and opportunity in both movement and education. RIDC’s work centers on creating a running industry that more accurately reflects the diverse communities who participate in it. Through advocacy, education, and partnerships, RIDC is helping reshape the industry to be more inclusive and equitable for all.
About the UT Co-Op Foundation
The University of Texas Co-Op Foundation supports academic success by providing grants and scholarships to students who need help covering the costs of required course materials. These funds directly support educational access, helping students remove financial barriers that can limit their academic progress.
About RIDC
The Running Industry Diversity Coalition works to make the running industry and its community more diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Through research, programming, advocacy, and partnerships, RIDC brings together organizations and individuals committed to driving sustainable change. Their influence extends throughout the running ecosystem, from retail to events to storytelling and athlete engagement.
Superfeet at TRE
This week at The Running Event (TRE), RIDC is hosting a series of conversations focused on actionable change within the running industry. Sanya’s participation highlights our shared commitment to elevating diverse voices and expanding pathways for people to access movement, opportunity, and community. The panel will explore how brands and partners can support more inclusive storytelling, create opportunities within the sport, and invest meaningfully in the next generation.
Moving Forward Together
Giving Tuesday is more than a moment. It is a reminder of the impact we can make when we choose to invest in people; students, athletes, educators, and community leaders who are shaping what comes next. Through philanthropy, partnership, and shared purpose, we are proud to stand alongside organizations like the UT Co-Op Foundation and RIDC to help open doors for future generations.
Together, we can create movement, access, and opportunity that goes further.
